Deleted templates still exist

Describe the bug

I've created a number of average templates, used them for awhile, then deleted them in the configuration.yaml.

They continue to haunt me (after many reboots) & appear as sensors in the entities list & show up in the error log as having problems.

Expected behavior

Expect them to be wiped clean. I'd do it manually but I don't know how.

This happens if you set the parameter unique_id. In this case, the last sensor value is automatically restored from the HA database. I have not yet been able to find a way to automatically delete such objects. You will have to manually remove such objects through the entities panel:
