This is no longer really necessary now that the Nixpkgs flake injects version information into `lib`. Hydra channel tarballs also contain the necessary version information, so users of `npins` and channels should still be happy too.
No longer necessary now that it’s not used to help determine the Nixpkgs revision.
Rebase the module from the previous Nixpkgs revision 8f31bff7940ed8d8d3e250e6ab7e7bc5b6160f1d to the current e6057cfd59f278db3aeb058a4e1e0bcc24696267.
