Prototype 5 Beta Printing Guide
Here is how to print your parts for prototype 5! Here is a guide for each part. Print in the orientation shown and with settings specified for the recommended results.

FingerRack: 1 per finger
This is the bendy part that follows your finger, and also the one that will go through the most stress. Print with no brims in PLA, although if you want to make it more durable, I recommend using silk-PLA or even better, Nylon.
RigidMount: 1 per hand
Attaches all the parts to your hand. This is another flexible part, but again you can just use PLA here. There are two versions of the rigidMount included with p5 beta at launch, v3 and v4, with different controller mounting points. V3 is depicted here.
BearingRetainer: 1 per finger
Holds the bearings onto the RigidMount.
MagnetPinion: 1 per finger
Print in the orientation shown, or upside down is fine too. You WILL need support structures, but only support touching buildplate. If the sides of the part have holes in them in your slicer due to thin walls, this is not a problem and will do fine.
MountSpacer: 1 per hand (optional)
Can be used to make more clearance for the tracker mount, and get it out of the way of the modules. Print in the orientation shown, either with no support or only buildplate support.
SensorHousing: 1 per finger
This is the most important part, and also the one you need to print the most carefully. Print in orientation shown, and you will need support everywhere, not just touching buildplate. Some images of important support areas are shown here.
SensorTop: 1 per finger
Print in orientation shown, ez pz
ServoGear: 1 per finger
ServoRack: 1 per finger
EndRings and GuideRings: 1 each per finger (try sizes)
Multiple sizes are given, more will be up soon.
