As quite a bit of time has now passed since the UGM and our first workshop in our series of online workshops, I thought it'd be a good idea to combine them into one events post, which we could also use to motivate and announce the save the date for the 2024 UGM.

Before posting, it'd be good to make sure a couple of other things are up to speed. Namely:

It seems as though MDAnalysis/UGM2023#52 and #349 are nearly ready to go, addressing the outstanding issues in my original comment.

Do others have thoughts on trying to get this merged on Monday, 15 Jan? The sooner we can announce the UGM the better!
