Reading comments by the project developer, @MaartenBaert, and of @mixedCase in issue #407, I think, it would indeed be good to open a mailing-list, chat room, and referring to existing forums (perhaps Linux and Multimedia forums) for getting support.

I am willing to subscribe to a mailing-list, when there would be one, and try to provide support.
