- Confirm you are using the latest version of Mach-II if you are testing an BER, alpha, beta or release candidate (RC).
- Search the tickets to see if the bug has already been reported. Do not report a bug if you have found a bug report (add a comment with additional information if your situation differs from the original report or reopen the ticket if the ticket is closed). Tickets are not a place to ask for support or questions about using Mach-II. Visit our Mach-II for ColdFusion Google Group to ask questions.
- Choose a descriptive title for your bug report.
- Include a detailed report of what is happening, what you expect to happen, exact error information and how to reproduce the issue. Additional information such as stack trace or error page can be attached to the ticket.
- You can submit a patch you want to help us out by fixing the bug for us. Attach the patch to the ticket. All patches are subject to verifications and may be modified/changed/rewritten in order to meet the coding requirements, ideals and/or objects of the Mach-II project.
- Accurately select the severity of your issue, the component and the correct version of Mach-II.
- Use your email address as the username if you want to be informed when the status of the ticket changes or when additional comments are made on the ticket. If you leave the usernames as
anonymous
, you will not receive any notifications regarding ticket changes. - Now that you have read our recommendations, go and create a new ticket.
Bug fixes will not be committed without a ticket being filed first. No exceptions.
