Getting 403 Forbidden responses #1

In our Magento 1 shop instance we have installed your module some time before. Now we see a lot of error messages in our system.log. The reson is that the check for updates with this URL 'http://www.magestore.com/index.php/magenotification/service/getfeed3/lastupdatetime/1448502663' does not get a valid XML response anymore. Instead we get a 403 Forbidden, leading to an error.

What is the correct way to handle this. Can we savely disable this extension?

We are getting 403 as well for that same URL.

No, I have not searched further for a solution.

@Naitsirch @nullwriter you can try to install the new release to avoid this issue
