In our Magento 1 shop instance we have installed your module some time before. Now we see a lot of error messages in our system.log. The reson is that the check for updates with this URL 'http://www.magestore.com/index.php/magenotification/service/getfeed3/lastupdatetime/1448502663' does not get a valid XML response anymore. Instead we get a 403 Forbidden, leading to an error.
What is the correct way to handle this. Can we savely disable this extension?
