Is this project still alive?

In our company we are currently evaluating switching from AutoMapper to Mapster.
Therefore I just wanted to ask if this project is still being actively maintained?

The last commit was in September 2023 and there are a lot of open pull requests.

There has always been a long release cycle here.
There is no information about the end of maintained.

But you should wait for an answer @andrerav .

did you guys even used the sourcegen in .net9? I am not having trouble installing the Mapster, but the sourcegen, I am not able to install

this one, it seems like it will work fine with .net 5, but I am using .net9

Try the latest pre-release of Mapster and Mapster.Tool

dotnet tool uninstall Mapster.Tool
dotnet tool install Mapster.Tool --prerelease

I'm also considering migrating from automapper to mapster to see if this is an easy gain for performance, but not moving until there's some assurance this project will continue to be maintained.

I've been busy with a new startup and haven't been able to keep up through the summer. Thanks to the efforts of @DocSvartz and @stagep (both of which stepped up as maintainers after #752) we were able to push out a new set of prerelease packages today. It's been a while since we did a full release from the master branch, that's true -- but the previous pre-release was 9 months ago. Not saying that's a good cadence, but I also think it's too soon to declare this project dead :)
