This extension no longer displays an external window when the PIP button is pressed on the YouTube page. Likely some sort of change on Google/YouTube's side. Someone on the extension page mentioned it might have something to do with their notification system?

Hi,

Yes, chrome has updated its notification api. Unfortunately I'm starting my
holidays tomorrow and won't be able to fix it for some time.

Thanks for letting me know.

hi I really like the look of this and am looking forward to hearing about resolution of this, and just wanted to confirm...

I can see the PIP link by like, but then there's just like an empty speech bubble...

Is this related to this change and is this open-source? Curious and inspired totalnoob wishing you every success in your endeavours :D

what language and tools are you crafting with?

Thank you, and good luck!

Hi,

Its been broken since chrome updated its notification API.
Its programmed in the usual CSS, JS and HTML.

Its is open-source https://github.com/McPo/Picture-In-Picture-For-YouTube

Unfortunately I don't have much time nowadays to maintain it, nor the
required regular internet access.

Thanks for your enquiry,
Emmet
