Aims

To reduce the effort of creating open-source genome-scale metabolic models (GEMs), while providing maximum transparency to both model users and the standard-defining community, as the standard itself is open-source. To introduce a system that automatically validates adherence to this standard, without any effort from the GEM creators.

Scope

GEMs reconstructions done openly on GitHub.

Based on the ISO guidelines and RFC2119, tweaked for easy understanding.
