#Welcome to the MicroNanoFlows GitHub Wiki

The Micro & Nano Flows for Engineering (MNF) group is a collaborative research effort between The University of Edinburgh, The University of Warwick, The Science & Technology Facilities Council (Daresbury Laboratory), The University of Glasgow and The University of Strathclyde. Work undertaken by the group is partly funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

This is intended as a central lookup resource for the MNF group codes that are included as part of this repository. Information provided here will enable you to learn more about the fundamental science behind the codes as well as how to install and use them in a number of computing environments.

The two main MNF group codes described are mdFoam+, a Molecular Dynamics (MD) solver based on the original OpenFOAM mdFoam application but greatly extended and dsmcFoam+, a Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) solver, also based on the original OpenFOAM application but again extended in functionality.

For a complete list of the Micro & Nano Flows for Engineering group members please see the main website but for immediate points of contact:
