@IanMatthewHuff found that our localization does not currently cover setting strings.

These settings are in the package.json under configuration.

Environment data

  • VS Code version: latest.
  • Jupyter Extension version (available under the Extensions sidebar): latest.
  • Python Extension version (available under the Extensions sidebar): latest.
  • OS (Windows | Mac | Linux distro) and version: Any,
  • Python and/or Anaconda version: Any.
  • Type of virtual environment used (N/A | venv | virtualenv | conda | ...): Any.
  • Jupyter server running: Any.

Expected behaviour

Settings should be localized.

Actual behaviour

Settings are not localized.

Steps to reproduce:

Open the Jupyter extension configurations.
