How can I make videos go full screen in wevbview2 windows forms

Is there a way I can make a video play in fill screen?

@champnic good qeustion @Green-Ten-Tech if have the same problem but if you add above controls to a panel you can hide the panel but how to overlay over tabs no idee

Hey @Green-Ten-Tech / @jarno9981 - You own the window and other controls, so to go fullscreen you need to make it possible for the WebView2 control to display using the full screen. You can see an example of this in Win32 in our sample app here:

In WPF/Winforms, you will need to do something similar - hide non-WebView2 controls, and then make the window go fullscreen, in response to the CoreWebView2.ContainsFullScreenElementChanged event. Let me know if you have more questions about this.

This seems the most appropriate place to ask this: I'm using this technique and it successfully toggles between fullscreen and window. However, the issue I'm seeing is that when unfullscreening, the content is getting resized immediately and flies to the left (as it's left aligned in windowed mode). So temporarily the video is small and left aligned on a fullscreen window. Then shortly after, the window resizes back to its original size and the whole content is moved back to the middle. It's almost like the video element resize takes over the main thread and makes the whole sequence linear and jerky. Is this a known issue and is there a workaround?

Can totally rewrite this in a new issue and provide a video if required. Thanks!
