A Song/Stream Voting and streaming Application

Overview

This project is a web application built with Next.js, Prisma, Tailwind CSS, and shadCN. It allows creators to organize a list of songs or streams to be played based on votes from users. The application provides an interactive interface for users to vote on their preferred songs or streams, and the system updates the playlist accordingly.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

Before you start, ensure you have the following installed:

• Node.js (v16 or later)

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/MohdSaquib114/MUZER.git
   cd your-repository

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install

3. Set up the database:

   • Create a .env file in the root directory and add your database connection string:

     DATABASE_URL="your-database-connection-string"
     GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID = "your-GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID"
     GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET = "your-google-client-secret"
     NEXTAUTH_SECRET = "your-nextauth-secret"

   • Run Prisma migrations to set up the database schema:

     npx prisma migrate dev

Running the Application Locally

1. Start the development server:

   npm run dev

   The application will be accessible at http://localhost:3000.

2. Build the application for production:

   npm run build

3. Start the production server:

   npm start

   The application will be accessible at http://localhost:3000.
