Spawnrules
Can spawn in Savanna, any Birch Forest and any Jungle Biome

The Tortoise is a new mob which moves very slowly with a movement speed of 0.275.

The Tortoise has the ability to hide in its shell under certain conditions.
Those conditions are:
• They were recently hit
• They are next to an undead or pillager
• They are in the middle of an active raid
• Something has recently sat upon their shell

While the Tortoise is in its Shell it is immune to Projectiles, and takes 50% less damage from other sources as well as taking 75% less knockback.

The Tortoise can be bred with Apples, Melons, Glow Berries, and Sweet Berries.
After breeding the Tortoise will look for a place under a block of the Leaves Tag on a block tagged in the Dirt Tag to lay their eggs.

The Tortoise can be ridden by the Player but cannot be controlled.
On death the Tortoise drops nothing.

The Tortoise drops 2 Tortoise Scutes when fully grown up.
