and cleanup of the National plots generated with cumulated STATE data.
created a few journals to munge reeds data and processed the cole 2021 for analysis.
jupyter journal updated output updated.
asdf
Not completed, need to munge new ReEDS file for analysis, then rerun and create graphs.
finally got the right file, munged, output the data and updated the two baselines to use for running simulations.
needs work to figure out exactly what to simulate and plot.
important add for keeping track of Area REPAIRED and Area Repaired Power Generated
rename 'Repaired_[W]' and 'Repaired_Area'
encapsulants and backsheets data from ITRPV for calculations.
Supporting material files added, jupyter journal created to calculate the mass per area of an aggregated encapsulant material. Baseline file created, and values populated. "Virgin Material Efficiency" is still tentative, no literature values found yet. Updated the Annual Module composition baseline graph.
2 csvs created and documentation for their variables attempted in read the docs data. Variables subject to change as energy data is sourced.
should have all scenarios and cumulative data needed, just need to print out to csvs
small fixing repaired power generation
tweaking for plotting and saving csvs
updates to generate more graphs.
updating to extract new addition differences and calculate the 50 year decreased installs.
…ange created the structure for a new simulation in the journal, will assign values with next update.
ready to run the 321 simulations of different lifetimes and recyclabilities. Note the value assignment has been extremely simple, it overwrites for all time (1995-2050), and applies the same recycling to all materials. Module lifetime, degradation, and t50 and t90 values have all been adjusted to match the module lifetime such that is reaches 80% of nameplate power at "module lifetime" and t50/t90 values dictate that 90% of modules haven't suffered failure at module lifetime.
need to fix potentially infinite for loop of compensated capacity. Preliminary heatmap plots for virgin needs, wastes and installed capacity as a relative to PV ICE defaults.
a bit of color update, but also added a placeholder for backsheets with a back of the envelope calculation of value.
completed the installation compensation calc, and created some heatmaps for it. Something a little weird in virgin needs in the install compensated.
forgot to weight the final mass by marketshare of glass backsheets, has been corrected in all files now.
math updates
made a new bar chart, saved yearly and cumulative csvs.
ran journal more, saved files, updated PVICE aggregate results function to say "metric tonnes" not "million metric tonnes"
using reeds output munging file to create pca and scenario files for lifetime vs recycling paper, not fully functional yet.
new files and part way through redoing analysis for lifetime vs recycling paper, this time using solar futures projections.
completed the simulation setup to the point of running the mass flow calculation the first time (not install compensation).
rerun Taylor analysis with bug fix, and updates to results Working on Lifetime vs REcycling analysis, stuck on material file modification.
made baseline file csvs that started in 2010 separately of the function creating the scenarios. This worked!
got essentially all the graphs either functioning or as output csvs. needs improvement, but is functional.
