Could this be merged? As of 2024-07-01 the mirrorlist.centos.org is no longer resolvable so the build fails. (also the Centos Stream 8 is EOL) |

CentOS Stream 8 support ends at 31 May 2024, so we have to switch to AlmaxLinux that will be supported until 01 Mar 2029.
