if you are committing two weeks on one temporary branch like this, you don't have to sync first -- since only you are editing your file, you can create your new entry on the old branch, and I can add both commits. If you sync from a temporary branch, you will end up with a merge commit like the second commit here
once I merge the changes, I recommend deleting your temp branch from your fork and creating a new one for the new DN entry
