It's not supposed to be used outside of the compilation unit. Also remove misleading documentation for non-existing parameters and reformat the rest. Ticket: ENT-11235 Changelog: None
When following symlinks, the true leaf name (basename) can easily differ from the symlink's leaf name. Ticket: ENT-11235 Changelog: None
