Domain

Our domain is not that big but there are still some terms we use which we have agreed on. These terms are represented in our code base and we want to give everyone a basic understanding of what they mean.

Term	Meaning
Communication Channel	Any channel through which OSO can communicate with a HR or HP. This could be anything like a phonenumber, email-address or even another Device.
Coordinates	Coordinates always means the geographic coordinates in longitude and latitude
Device	Any Device that can connect with OSO to send or receive data or Emergencies
DeviceAction	A configuration which defines, what to if a specific DeviceTrigger is sent from a specific Device
DeviceTrigger	All kinds of Actions that can be triggered by a Device of a specific DeviceType (i. e. Button1 clicked, Button2 clicked, double-click, ...)
DeviceType	The type of a Device, i. e. Reachfar, Smartphone, Flick-Button
Emergency	A signal which is sent by a help-requester to a group of help-provider
Emergency Channel	An emergency Channel describes the way of communication between a HR and HP in case of an Emergency. This includes the Communication channel to use as well as the message to send and the condition in which to use it (only for emergency of Level X)
Help-Provider (HP)	Any person who wants to help a help-requester in case of an Emergency
Help-Requester (HR)	Any person which requests help from Help-Requester
Notification	When a emergency is sent the help-providers will receive a notification via app or email
