Integrating MCR-DL with Megatron-LM-v23.05
(Note : v23.05 is used for A100 GPUs, for latest version of Megatron-LM, please rebase this branch with main)
Verified integration changes on mri with config backend = 'nccl' distributed-engine = 'toch' for following benchmarks:
pretrain_bert.sh
pretrain_bert_distributed.sh
To install mcr-dl : use simplify-mcr-dl-access (PR : Simplify access to MCR-DL MCR-DL#17)
Find the example sbatch script to run pretrain_bert_distributed.sh :
distributed_run_pretrain_gpt.txt
