Describe the bug
Ombi v4.14.3 docker with Jellyfin. This bug has been occurring for a couple of weeks at least so not sure which version introduced it.

When a request is made via Ombi and filled, the listing on the request page still shows "Processing Request" However if you go to the details page of the request item the buttons "Play On" and "Mark Unavailable" are shown, indicating Ombi does know the request has been filled.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add request via Ombi
  2. Wait for request to be filled
  3. Status of request does not change, but detail page does

Expected behavior
Ombi request page change to request filled.

Logs (Logs directory where Ombi is located)
No errors in logs.

Desktop (please complete the following information):
Docker

Ombi Version (please complete the following information):

  • 4.14.3 docker
  • Jellyfin 10.7.7
  • Database Type: SQLite

Additional context
Seems similar to a recent emby bug - #4513

Hi!

Thanks for the issue report. Before a real human comes by, please make sure you used our bug report format.

Have you looked at the wiki yet? https://docs.ombi.app/

Before posting make sure you also read our FAQ.

Make the title describe your issue. Having 'not working' or 'I get this bug' for 100 issues, isn't really helpful.

If we need more information or there is some progress we tag the issue or update the tag and keep you updated.

Thanks!

Ombi Bot.

Screen shot of request page and detail page as described.

I verified the media server settings are correct and connectivity passed and also did a clear data and resync last week to no avail.

I was kind of deferring to the experts for what other information is needed..

Also, I am running Jellyfin and have never used emby, but the button says play on emby..

Odd. Just to confirm it is available on Jellyfin?

Do you mind sending me your ombiexternal.db to tidusjar@gmail.com and also tell me what movie this is

It is available on Jellyfin, and the details page on Ombi shows it available per the screenshot.

File sent with details. Not isolated to this particular item, it does this with any new request. As I mentioned it has been doing this a couple of weeks or so now, been using Ombi for almost two years now.

Ok, it's picked up this movie as available from the Emby Sync, so did you or do you happen to have configured your Jellyfin instance under the Emby mediaserver settings? Because that's also explains why it might have not marked the request as available.

It is and has always been configured under the Jellyfin settings. This is something that started happening 2ish weeks ago after an update. I checked the db file and it shows JellyfinSettings in the GlobalSettings table.

Should I remove it and re-add or further troubleshooting?

OK found the issue regarding the Play on Emby, Can you also email me your Ombi.db file for me to get the request and see what's going on?

This same thing started happening to me. Some movies get marked available, some do not., but all of them say "Play on Plex", since I only have plex configured.

I think it started happening when I moved to 4.12.7 about 20 days ago. Previously I was on 4.10.2.

I had done that previously in my troubleshooting before filing the bug a couple of weeks ago...

Just did it again. Did not change the status of the request.

Let me know what's next.

Hmmm 4.15.1 did not fix it for me. Only difference in setup is I am using Plex. I tried clear and resync to be sure. Affected movie is available, but the request is still marked "Processing Request".
