(I'm the original reporter.) This is a colour scheme set by the OS, not the browser. The full configuration is Firefox 28 running on Kubuntu 12.04, with KDE setting the colour scheme to white-on-black. Looking at the CSS, it appears that Bootstrap has set the text box |

Small bug report: the text box on healthcheck.io seems to have its foreground colour set, but not the background, making it impossible to read with white-on-black colour schemes.
