Oregon Digital

OD2 is the current version of our joint digital collections platform, built on Samvera Hyrax. Several customizations and additions have been made by our teams, including:

  • Harmful Content warnings. Use default or custom warning text, option to blur images in viewer and search results.
  • oEmbed. URL support added to FileSet model. Returned audio or video player is displayed instead of Universal Viewer.
  • Traditional Knowledge (TK) / Local Contexts (LC) Labels. Can select and display appropriate labels.
  • Configurable Facets for Collections. Per Collection, can configure results for which facets display, change order, and change labels.
  • Additional linked data and API sources added for controlled vocabularies

A Glossary is available with definitions and links for more information.

The purpose of this wiki is to centralize Oregon Digital Development and Digital Assets Migration Project. The major purpose of this project is to modernize Oregon Digital’s repository technology to align with the maturation of the Samvera community and convergence around a single solution bundle, Hyrax, and make Oregon Digital workflows more efficient.
