It doesn't work on ppc64, but chances are it will on amd64. Please check if it does, it might or might nor require to be started with ELECTRON_ENABLE_STACK_DUMPING=true.

EDIT: asar requires FEATURES="-network-sandbox" to be compiled.

Is it useful to have asar as a separate package? It should be available with dev-dependencies in electron.

Unfortunately I don't use discord and I do not have any accout with it. Maybe someone is willing to test it?

Please address pkgcheck errors.

Not sure, I couldn't find it so I've hacked a super fast package for that.
Since it doesn't work on ppc64le I don't have many reasons to keep working on it, but if someone is able to successfully test it on amd64 I might clean it a little bit so it can be useful to others.

Not sure if this applies to discord, but for element-desktop there is an asar dependency in node_modules/@electron/asar (which seems to have been moved from node_modules/asar at some point, as I have recently found out).

@TheCodex6824 Thanks for the hint! It seems we're to be using your ppc64 solution for element-desktop on amd64 too :) #255 (comment)

I would like to test discord, but on arm64 :)

UPD: Oh, nevermind. discord doesn't even support arm64

@ZerdoX-x might very well work... it's just an electron app so if you unbundle it and use system electron you might get lucky.

For now I am just trying to use ArmCord, looks ok for me
