  • Distribution (version): Debian 13 (Trixie)
  • Desktop environment: LXQt
  • Installing method: APT

The following icons are missing. The theme has symlinks for older versions of some of these, but as of the current .desktop files, the required icons are as follows:

PCManFM-Qt: pcmanfm-qt
Color-Picker (Qt Standalone app): color-picker

these icon names were obtained using the following command (case sensitive):

cat /usr/share/applications/{application} | grep Icon

the relevant package names for these are: pcmanfm-qt color-picker

Thank you for your time

Update: adjusting the icon size revealed that the print settings icon is actually fine. No dice for color-picker, though, nor pcmanfm.

I've been keeping an eye on LXQt just in case my current Xfce4 gets too GNOME-ish 😄

Funny, I could've sworn that their file manager had a Papirus icon. Upstream's hicolor icons for these, for reference:

pcmanfm-qt

Fairly obvious that this should just be a symlink to "system-file-manager" in papirus. Good old GTK-era pcmanfm already uses that generic icon, so people coming from that will be expecting this look.

color-picker (app)

This is fancy and pretty unique... and sadly so generically named that there's a name clash with the "color-picker" actions icon in Papirus. I hope that won't matter.

Papirus's colour-picker actions icon looks like a stylized ink or paint droplet

The elementary-xfce icon set has a "color-picker" actions icon too: an eye dropper with coloured ink in it

I think the wisest choice is currently in Papirus: "gnome-color-chooser" (an app icon). I note that the existing "gpick" app icon is a symlink to that, and it's a similar app. Perhaps it's OK for an app and an action to have an icon of the same name, and perhaps it's OK if they look different in Papirus.
