Per the release notes, this PR should be merged after #633.

Interestingly, when testing against error-prone-contrib, dropping this plugin does not impact coverage of the tech.picnic.errorprone.bugpatterns package, though it does slightly decrease coverage of tech.picnic.errorprone.bugpatterns.util.
