reference()
function to get output from an executed resource. Note that this differs from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/templates/template-functions-resource#reference in that it only takes a single argument which is aresourceId
. The other two parameters don't apply to DSC. Also note that the output is the same as if you executed the resource fromdsc
so it's wrapped as a GetResult, SetResult, TestResult.PR Context
