Just received a Slack from Frank about improvements to Chinese in translations in Taiwan:

By the way, we noticed that many of the entries are in Simplified Chinese which is the script used in China but not in Taiwan, plus in addition, some terminologies are different in Taiwan.

Frank's plan, which I think is a good one is to:

The best way to identify the file is using the ISO language codes, so our text using zh-TW is sufficient. So for the messages file, I'll revise the file suffix to zh-TW, does that work? Looks like you guys have done the same thing for New Zealand?

I told Frank this is a good plan but that @misaugstad should weigh in.

Frank also added:

I also had discussions with Tsung-Lun regarding how you might want to handle that on the website language menu as well, but basically you can use "zh-TW" instead of plain "zh". If and when you have other Chinese-speaking countries join in, you can then add them later, but they'd probably look like "zh-hk" or "zh-cn".
