feat: add status subcommand

Add the git status sub-command, with the --long and --short flags.

Looking good, just a few comments on possible improvements.

For testing, I'd be inclined just to go for one simple test initially just to check it runs and produces some output, and we can come back later to ensure everything is fully tested.
