Harvest Proposal
A set of harvest pages are proposed to simplify the process of bulk uploading audio recordings to the ecosounds website. The proposed process will guide users through the following stages:
- Explanation: An explanation page for what Harvest performs
- Credentials: Provide credentials so that users can SSH into a temporary server where they are allowed to upload audio files
- Check: This is an automated process where the uploaded audio files are checked for any issues/errors
- Review: This is a chance for the user to review the list of uploaded files, as well as view any issues/errors. It is the users final chance to rectify any mistakes, or correct any issues identified in the Check stage
- Harvest: This is an automated process where the uploaded audio files are harvested into the ecosounds dataset
- Summary: This is where the user is given a final summary of what has occurred
