2022 PUMS data include 2010 PUMAs for data before 2022 and 2020 PUMA for data collected on or after 2022. This creates an issue in creating synthetic population as the application only support one seed geography i.e. PUMA.

The resolution was to create a new PUMA by intersecting the 2010 and 2020 PUMA geography and labeling the new PUMAs by concatenating PUMA 2010 with PUMA 2020.
