This part of the bridge was meant to find game info on IGN but rarely found useful results, and is harder to maintain than the rest of this bridge due to changes at IGN.

Had issue with the bridge due to the part that retrieves game info from IGN. This part of the bridge was meant to find game info on IGN but rarely found useful results, and is harder to maintain than the rest due to changes at IGN. As it was not so useful in practice, it's simpler to just remove it than maintain it.
