This release is exactly like the previous one, but with fixes for the freezes caused by the newest OBS version. As such, the changelog below will still be the one from the previous version:
This release adds the new current characters, as well as the new Custom Colors feature, while also porting features from the newer stream tool versions:
General
- Added character recolors. To access this, simply go to the GUI settings and click on the Change colors button.
- This will update the image files used by the Scoreboard/VS screen. Once you save your recolor, refresh those browser sources in obs to update the images.
- Velora has no recolors, but will get them on next release.
- Added Seth.
- Added Velora.
- Updated all character assets.
- All character related files are now on their respective
Resources/Characters
folder. This means adding a character is as easy as dropping a folder there. Game In.webm
is now shorter (from 3 seconds to .5). I just removed the +2 secs of transparent nothingness.- Tons of file/folder cleanup.
GUI
- Character list is now automatically generated, adding a character per folder at
Resources/Characters
(excludingRandom
). - Added a "Copy match info to clipboard" button on the settings menu (will return
Tournament Name - Round - Player1 (Character1) VS Player2 (Character2)
). - Will now also generate Score txt files on
Resources/Texts/Simple Texts
. - Reduced Windows
.exe
size by half. - Fixed player simple texts always having names for players 5 and 6.
Scoreboard
- Score ticks for P2 are now brighter.
Setup Instructions
- Extract somewhere.
- Drag and drop
Game Scoreboard.html
into OBS, or add a new browser source in OBS pointing at the local file.- If the source looks weird, manually set the source's properties to 1920 width and 1080 height, or set your OBS canvas resolution to 1080p, or make the source fit the screen.
- In the source's properties, change Use custom frame rate ->
60
(if streaming at 60fps of course). - Also tick
Refresh browser when scene becomes active
. - Manage it all with the
RR Stream Tool
executable.
Both Windows and Linux (appimage) executables are included, but as the files are quite large you can safely remove whichever you don't need.
