Embedding gifs

If you want to display gifs on your site, you can use HTML player embedding. For that, you take a gif page, and change watch
to ifr
, so that the URL looks like this:
https://www.redgifs.com/ifr/willingmeekroebuck
This is the iframe source that you should use. The pattern is very simple so you can create frame links knowing gif ids.
Direct file access using links found in oEmebd metadata (the ones that look like /v2/gifs/{gif}/files/{file}
) is restricted to a limited set of white listed sites. We don't like sites embedding our contents without linking back. If your site or platform needs gif previews with proper linking back, please contact us to discuss white-listing.
