RestComm Media Server 5.1.0
This milestone offers several improvements in terms of stability and performance.
Most notably, this release introduces support for ECDSA cipher for DTLS which speeds up the handshake process while offering greater safety. This is required as browsers move on to make ECDSA mandatory. The configuration file of the Media Server file now presents a new section for DTLS configuration.
This release also features a brand new caching mechanism which represent great savings in network activity and faster access to frequent audio tracks.
Also, the MGCP channel is now able to communicate with several call agents located within the local network. Surely a vital enhancement for users who wish to setup high availability clusters.
Last but not least, we have the pleasure to announce a brand new auto-configuration mechanism which makes it simpler than ever to get started with RestComm Media Server!
