A new version for the Firefox Theme has been released, following the latest guidelines of Cyberpunk Neon and solving the contrast issues the first version had.

Since I did not made the first version, I have uploaded this as a separate theme "Cyberpunk Neon V2", which you can find here https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/cyberpunk-neon-v2

Enjoy!

The Cyberpunk Neon welcome a new member to the family! Startpage is a private search engine I've grown accustomed to use in the past years, so it was about time that he received the Cyberpunk Neon blessing.

I think this is one of my most consistent themes right now. I hope you like it!

Feedback

If you have any thoughts about this, please open an issue! I'd like to know how these colour changes are received by previous users. There's also some elements left un-themed in the Telegram Desktop theme, I would appreciate some help identifying those.

Motivation

Over the last months I've been working on improving the colorscheme by:

  • Increasing contrast adding derived colours of Light-Blue and Purple and thus improve readability.
  • Trying to define better guidelines to implement the colorscheme and thus improve consistency.

Some of those efforts materialized in a brief explanation of the colorscheme in the repository wiki. The Discord theme was the first in implement some of those additions (but not fully, still needs review). And the recent Sway theme made heavy use of those new colours for good. But since the Telegram theme was one of the first I made, it makes sense for this theme to be the first to be reworked to this "v2 colorscheme".
