1. Irrelevant - happens on Mac and Linux.
2. Unknown.
3. Task goes blank.

Task is dead. Zero tokens showing. Zero cost. Just this error message. Entire session is totally lost, except the checkpoints git repository: ~/.config/Code/User/globalStorage/rooveterinaryinc.roo-cline/tasks/d4b8c136-a729-4e39-b3bf-208b82cb80e0/checkpoints.

...if only you persisted all task files, not just checkpoints. ;) You could put the git repo's root in the task directory, and make these JSONs persistent, it would be fantastic. Whatever happens, there's an opportunity to recover.

This bug is very frequent. It's been around for maybe a week or two.

This just happened again and i noticed something strange in the background it said something about checkpoints

but i dont have checkpoints enabled and never did,

i just lost another big task
