I've analyzed this issue and here's my proposed implementation plan:

After reviewing the codebase, I found that Amazon Nova models are already partially supported in the Bedrock provider:

• amazon.nova-lite-v1:0 (Nova Lite v1)
• amazon.nova-pro-v1:0 (Nova Pro v1)
• amazon.nova-micro-v1:0 (Nova Micro v1)

Based on the announcement you mentioned about "Nova 2 Lite" being comparable to Claude Haiku 4.5, I propose:

1. Add the new Nova 2 Lite model definition to packages/types/src/providers/bedrock.ts:

   • Model ID: amazon.nova-lite-v2:0 (following AWS naming conventions)
   • Configure appropriate pricing, context window, and capabilities based on AWS documentation
   • Set features like prompt caching, native tools support, and image support

2. Update model exports if needed to ensure the new model is available in the provider

3. Add tests to verify the new model works correctly with the Bedrock provider

This approach will make Nova 2 Lite available in the model dropdown when using Amazon Bedrock as the provider, maintaining consistency with the existing Nova model implementations.
