Comments
Hi Corvanzundert, |
When I rightclick on the start button, I get a dropdown menu and select: Check Element After that, I can see the Java Script code: Regards, Cor. Van: Andrea Coiutti [mailto:notifications@github.com] Hi Corvanzundert, — |
What is the "start button"? Do you mean the Play button on the top bar of the UI? |
Indeed, I mean the play button ! Ragards, Cor. Van: Andrea Coiutti [mailto:notifications@github.com] What is the "start button"? Do you mean the Play button on the top bar of the UI? — |
Andrea, My compliments for the wonderful Rune Audio application. It is an excellent product to simply configure a complicated MPD. I hope that you can get the User Interface to the same level of quality Best regards, Cor van Zundert The Netherlands. Can you give me details about this Javascript issue? As I'm unable to reproduce it on my setup. |
Hi Andrea, The problem occurs after pressing the pause button. When I use my iPad, which runs I/OS 8, the play button works fine. My test environment runs on Windows 7 professional with Internet Explorer 11, Locally connected to the Raspberry.
We also tried a new Raspberry and found the same issue. Thanks in advance, Cor van Zundert. Van: Andrea Coiutti [mailto:notifications@github.com] Can you give me details about this Javascript issue? As I'm unable to reproduce it on my setup. — |
As I told you above, please check for any Javascript error in the Internet Explorer's console (F12 -> Console). |
Hi Andrea, The problem does not occur when the Internet Explorer’s console is running, ONLY when the console is not running .. Van: Andrea Coiutti [mailto:notifications@github.com] As I told you above, please check for any Javascript error in the Internet Explorer's console (F12 -> Console). — |
I'm unable to reproduce the issue on two different machines (Win8.1 and Win7), both with IE11, where the UI playback buttons work as expected. I'm sorry but it's impossible to spot the potential issue without accurate debug data from you. |
Andrea, I am using a Dutch version of Windows 7. Maybe you could change your locale settings to Dutch to retest ?? So do not use US-English but Dutch instead. Thanks and regards, Cor van Zundert. I'm unable to do that, as my Windows 8.1 copy is localized in Italian only. Anyway that is unlikely the cause of the issue. |
Closing the issue for lack of accurate debug data. If you manage to check the JavaScript console and tell me if there are errors, please comment it here. |
Andrea, It is unbelievable that you are unable to reproduce the problem .. Our test: Take a PC, Install Windows 7, install the latest fixes and Internet explorer on it We tried on many PC’s and had the same problem EVERYWHERE, Except when running Mozilla Firefox which is working better. Our diagnose is that you have a communication problem on the Internet Explorer clients. Van: Andrea Coiutti [mailto:notifications@github.com] Closing the issue for lack of accurate debug data. I finally managed to install a Windows7 VM, so now I'm currently running a Windows Update on it in order to get IE11 and test on it. I'll let you know my findings soon. |
You'd be happy to know that the bug should be fixed now, and thanks to you :) Commit in the dev branch: d8d1352 Please update your local copy following these instructions: |
My compliments Andrea, the stop, pause and start buttons are working fine now. After applying the fix, I got a problem with the playlist: Songs added from my IE11 machine, are not visible in the queue of the playlist. Songs added from my iPhone, are visible in the phone’s queue of the playlist, but NOT on my IE11 machine. Could it be, that we have a new problem or ??? Have you hard cleared the cache on both browsers and also cleared the PHP OPcache like told in the instructions? |
The start and pause button do not work in RuneAudio 3.0B on a PC with IE 11 on windows 7 and Java version 8.45,
Except when I turn 'debug' on, then the buttons work.
I need the latest version of Java to stay compatible with other applications.
Hope you can fix this issue ???
Thanks & regards,
Cor van Zundert,
Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
