Modules to Import

Synopsis

An overview of the Modules to Import concept in PSProfile.

Description

Modules to Import are stored as an array of hashtables in the PSProfile object property $PSProfile.ModulesToImport.

Each hashtable in the array will include at least a module name, but also supports other various Import-Module parameters such as RequiredVersion and MinimumVersion.

Modules found in $PSProfile.ModulesToImport will be imported to the current session during PSProfile load.

Commands

• Add-PSProfileModuleToImport

Adds a new ModuleToImport to your PSProfile.

• Get-PSProfileModuleToImport

Gets a ModuleToImport or the list of ModulesToImport from your PSProfile configuration.

• Remove-PSProfileModuleToImport

Removes a ModuleToImport from your PSProfile.
