Animation Not Smooth

I am using this animation in Android Nougat. However the animation is not smooth throughout the image.
It happens in half the image and then just jumps to complete the animation.

The animation starts from the specified LoadingView Animation effect but the scale remains 1 and in a fraction of sec it takes over !!

Well it started working smooth after the next android update.
