The "OpenWeatherMap API" now supports fetching current and forecast weather data as well as historical weather data with the latest update. This API enables users to retrieve minute-by-minute, hourly, and daily forecasts, along with government weather alerts.
For current and forecast weather data, utilize the openweathermap.one_call() function by providing latitude, longitude, exclusion parameters, and your unique API key. The API version 3.0 offers options for units of measurement: standard, metric, and imperial.
To access historical weather data for a specific timestamp, the openweathermap.time_machine() function is available. Specify the latitude, longitude, timestamp (Unix time in UTC), and API key to retrieve historical weather information.
