v2.1.2.1 Crashing on startup #660

I just downloaded and installed v2.1.2.1. Xenko crashes when I try to start it. The "launcher" seems to be fine, but as soon as the main interface shows, I get a dialog indicating that GameStudio has crashed.
I have installed it to be compatible with VS Studio 2017 Ultimate. I installed this on my F: drive due to limited space on C: .

My computer spec:

  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • Intel Duo CPO T9550 @ 2.67 Ghz,
  • 6 Gb Ram

What's Visual Studio Ultimate? I never heard of it?

Could you provide more detailed information?

  • full path of Xenko installation
  • a screenshot of the crash dialog
  • the locale (language) of your PC
  • versions of .Net framework installed
  • versions of C++ redistributable installed

Given that the crash log contains SiliconStudio.Xenko.Audio, there might be some issues with your audio drivers. Make sure your PC has the latest updates installed.
