Allow for files to be uploaded to somewhere like our FTP server and then pulled back down to manage stuff like Y2 notices... This is super low priority

  • You should be able to upload a file and see it in a widget with all the other files already on the server. (potentially either assume people won't manually upload or run an index with the cron system.)

This should then serve to somewhere like the cpanel server or socsnas01. This should use either FTP, S3 (minio), SMB, or NFS.

  • You should then be able to query the file either by giving it a publicly accessible link (cpanel) or manage the query (nas)

  • You should be able to use the files for YG notices

  • You should be able to upload your profile picture directly (rather than gravatar or github) - thinking about this can we do something with 365??

  • Then if we're going crazy there should also be a processing pipeline which takes a file works out what it is, scans it, crops/scales it to fit nicely, and then saves it

  • Then extra do we have a system which allows us to make notices on the fly directly in a^2 rather than having to open photoshop or canva etc
