something's up with versioneer.

I cannot reproduce this locally. Locally, all seems fine, however GH actions seems to not be able to pull the version from versioneer!

It seems that even if I revert setup.py, setup.cfg, pyproject.toml and .github/workflows/pypi.yml to the version it last worked
2469460 , I still run into the same problem.
