Change "Content of the main page" selection #3732
Comments
I don't think the proposed menu is a solution, since tabs can be added dynamically based on content and services. Also, I am not sure I understand what the issue is. You can swipe items away if you don't want them and just want an empty main page. |
Imagine that I added 40 channels on my tabs, 10 for cooking, 10 for technology, 10 for music and 10 for some course or something. If I just want to see just tech content at the moment I have to remove all the others, and if I want to see them again in the tab I have to add them one by one. The option of simply making a list of tabs being able to activate or deactivate without having to remove percê seems more natural to me. this is just to demonstrate a point btw |
And NewPipe has massive performance issues with lots of tabs… About your proposed solution: how would you reorder tabs then? |
The tabs feature is supposed to be almost permanent, not to be changed everyday. The use case you brought about can be suited by the new feed and subscription groups. |

#3319 is a lot more logical if #3732 (comment) is the case. Checklist doesn't sound like a worthy solution. |
