Version 1

This is a GUI Runner for NUnit 3, based on Windows Forms. It looks very much like the NUnit V2 GUI but works like NUnit 3! It uses the latest NUnit Test Engine to run tests and supports installation of extensions. For specific features, see our 1.0 Milestone. We expect to release in late spring of 2018.

Version 2

For the next major release, we are evaluating a number of platforms to replace SWF. WPF is a possibility but others are being looked at too. Once we pick the platform, we'll start re-developing our experimental GUI under that platform. We expect this to look quite different, have many alternative ways to display tests and be capable of running other frameworks in addition to NUnit. We won't be able to pick a release date for this until after the release of Version 1 and the selection of the new platform.

Visual Studio Extension

This will be developed concurrently with Version 2. At this point, we don't know whether it will be released with it or separately and we don't have a time frame yet, but our platform selection for Version 2 is taking this into account.
