# Overview

This is a Juju charm for Ubuntu Juju (Learn more: juju.ubuntu.com).

This can launch a single server cryptocoin pool or be extended to launch a entire cryptocoin cloud network using the MPOS frontend and a stratum pool server. See "Scale Out Usage" for details.

# Usage

To deploy a fully functional litecoin pool server the following default command can be ran with no configuration:

    juju deploy mpos
    juju expose mpos

TO configure the specific parameters of MPOS and pool servers see "Configuration".

You can then browse to http://your-address/MPOS/public to configure the first password and user or admin.

## Scale out Usage

MPOS charm can be ran as a single pool server instance with front end for small load handling. You can span out your MPOS charm network by seperating your services like so:

  More MPOS frontend instances:
    juju add-unit -n <number_of_instances> mpos
    juju deploy haproxy
    juju add relation mpos haproxy
    juju expose haproxy

  MYSQL:
    juju deploy mysql
    juju add-relation mpos mysql
    juju add-relation poolserver mysql

Note:The following charms are not et crewated because they are to be a product of this project.
  CyptoCoin:
    juju deploy cryptocoin
    juju add-relation mpos cryptocoin

  PoolServer:
    juju deploy poolserver
    juju add-relation mpos poolserver

All configuration must be made to he MPOS charm. Configuration parameters for mysql, cryptocoin, and poolserver do not need to be set and if they are will be overridden by relationship.

# Configuration

The following are editable configuration parameters.

coin_type:The crypto currency you wish to mine.(e.g. bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin)
  host_id:
mpos_user:This is for user name configuration.
mpos_pass:This is for rpc user password configuration.
  db_name:
  db_user:
  db_pass:
  rpc_port:
  rpc_timeout:
pool_wallet:Where you want the pool profits to be sent.
cpu_cores:This is for running parrelel task to setup.
  alerts_email:This is for bicoind alerts.
  block_hash:
  pool_target:
base_dir:Base directory where files will be installed from or to. (Leave the trailing"/" off)

To launch a instance with a specific set of configuration parameters can be done in two ways. First the following can be put into the command line at delpoyment(longer deployment time):

	juju set mpos <setting>=<value> <setting>=<value> <setting>=<value>

Or a better way would be to set it at launch by editing the config file <provide-link-later> and typing the following command:

        juju deploy --config myconfig.yaml mpos
