planned features require, or would be made easier with, a few changes that were added in the latest version of bootstrap 5.3.

  1. change the package.json dependency for bootstrap to 5.3
  2. do a functionality check and make sure nothing was negatively impacted

currently depends on #60

with #66, bootstrap may be completely decomissioned. hold on to this issue incase that isn't whathappens

bootstrap was found to be completely incompatible with react native, so this too will be closed
